Robbie Chiarello

Director & Principal Consultant

Robbie is an experienced Licensed Asbestos Assessor with over 9 years’ experience as a multidisciplinary Consultant, carrying out projects throughout Australia and New Zealand.  After 8 years as a senior employee for a number of well-established companies in the industry, Robbie set up Hygiene Risk Australia Pty Ltd (HRA), an environmental consultancy business based in Wollongong & Sydney.

Since its inception, HRA has attracted a continuous and growing stream of business and managed a range of contracts in Wollongong, Sydney, Rural NSW and beyond. This includes the high profiled NSW Loose Fill Asbestos Insulation Program currently coming up to completion by NSW Fair Trading.

Robbie has developed long standing relationships with HRA customers such as WSP, Greencap, Joss Facility Management, Hansen Yuncken, and several sectors within the NSW Government, and repeat business is a common occurrence.

Fred Sirianni

Principal Occupational Hygienist

Alfred is a new member within Hygiene Risk Australia, however possesses over 8 years of Occupational Hygiene experience. He has a broad skill set in industrial hygiene, Asbestos, Hazardous Substances and Materials, Site Investigations and Management Plans both occupational and environmental noise management, hazardous dusts (such as Silica), fumes and particulate matter amongst others.

James Bullivant


James is a junior consultant who has been employed with Hygiene Risk Australia for just under 1 year and is working towards his Licensed Asbestos Assessor License. James has been mentored by Robbie on the Loose Fill Asbestos Insulation Project (Mr Fluffy project) and on the Vermiculite (Sprayed Insulation) Sampling Project for NSW Government – Department of Education as well as on commercial and residential work carrying out air monitoring and visual clearances on bonded asbestos removals.
